The opening game will be between The Cup Holders Tide/ Independent Monitor Newspapers and Wave FM at 3pm on Friday, March, 31, 2017 while Radio Nigeria, Treasure FM will take on Cool/ Wazobia/ Nigeria Info FM at 4pm.
According to a release by Corporate PH6 Ltd, organizers of this year’s edition, this year’s edition will be more than just football tournament as it continues to serve as a remembrance for the late Henry Kalio who was the Rivers State SWAN chairman until he passed on in 2004.
On Tuesday, the organisers released the provisional fixtures for the competition which was ratified in a Technical Meeting between the Team Managers and Captains as well as the Local Organizing Committee on Wednesday.
