When I picked up my fourth client at Rumuigbo Junction, I didn’t know it would bring back memories from about a month earlier. Even she sef for conduct herself properly when our paths crossed then.
Anita had booked me to Waterlines so she could pick up her boyfriend. I dropped her inside the Mobil Filling Station and waited afterwards to get another good ride.
After about 20 minutes, one order came from Evo Road in GRA, and after establishing contact with the client, I went straight to him. He was with a few luggages, so I helped him put them in the boot of my car. He said we go first pass Rumuola Junction to pick up him babe before heading to Rumuigbo. Na so me sef inform am of the fare increment (even though na the same route I go pass to his destination).
The babe was already in front of Excellence Supermarket, so she just hopped in.
Guess what… the same babe I had just dropped off at Waterlines. She couldn’t locate her boyfriend, so they both agreed to meet at Rumuola before one person go loss… funny!
While entering the street at Rumuigbo, she saw her two roomies and called on them. Immediately I saw them, na so I remember who this squad be. Life can be so funny at times. I think it plays tricks on us sometimes to see how we react.

As they came to greet the couple inside, I also joined in the convo and made fun of one of the girls, like I did a month earlier. Instantly, all three remembered.
The other two were happy about our reunion, but the one seated with her boyfriend… I could sense her mood swing. And na because of she this episode came up.

Anyway, we got to their house, I helped them bring down the luggages, and the boyfriend told me to pick him up the next morning so we could go to Igwuruta to see his mum and siblings. Correct gig.
About a month earlier, I had picked all three girls from Pleasure Park. The other two we met along the road stopped at Rumuokwuta because the more friendly one had an appointment with her boo. Anita, on the other hand, was headed to NTA Road to see who, at the time, I thought to be her man. She was rude from the get-go. But the other two made up for whatever deficiencies she displayed.
Well, I kept asking her where exactly, and she kept referring me to the app. Unfortunately, we got lost. Oya call the guy wey we dey go see na, she refused… saying she suppose know the place and she didn’t want to bother him make him no vex. I almost lost it. And na the guy suppose pay me. Omoh… I tried that day with anger management. She later put call, I spoke to the guy, and in less than three minutes, I got there. No compensation for the unnecessary running around and time wasting like we agreed when we got lost. She still begin sharp mouth join. No wam.
Back to present day.
I got to Rumuigbo Junction as agreed. The whole gang came out. This time, Anita’s body language was telling. When our eyes crossed, she looked worried and troubled. She sef don recognize me well and she dey fear for her indiscretions in times past.
I picked her new boyfriend. Me and that one enter better gist. He’s a sailor who is rarely in Port Harcourt. He claims he’s madly in love with Anita, has engaged her for three months now, and is planning the wedding in two months’ time. I didn’t know whether to be happy for him or feel sad. I felt a strong urge to tell him what I knew about the woman he gave a ring to. Because from the timeline of events, she had that ring at the time of that sexcapade at NTA Road.
The boy was very okay in life, judging by what he told me and how he takes care of her. I put am on with gist, so info flowed.
In the end, I decided it was none of my business. No be from my mouth him go hear sey fowl no dey piss.
I drop am for him mama house, got credited, and left immediately!
