Othuke Ominiabohs outdid himself in this new book, A conspiracy of Ravens, <\/strong>an action thriller rare in these parts.

This book brings up the Niger Delta militancy issue in Nigeria, the agitation for an Independent state of Biafra and the terrorist activities of Boko Haram into one. Is that why it\u2019s a conspiracy?

It will be difficult to describe this book in a mere review, but isn\u2019t that what makes Othuke stand out from amongst his contemporaries? His lyrical composure is top notch and his writing style leaves an indelible mark on you.
\u00a0
Rather than give his fans a sequel to the romantic tragedy that was Odufa, <\/em><\/strong>we saw an expose on Nigeria\u2019s Niger Delta crisis as nine expatriates are kidnapped in the South of Nigeria while militants fought over control of Nigeria\u2019s resources.
\u00a0
But was the militant leader fighting a war that was his?<\/p>\n

It also reveals the inner workings of Boko Haram, shows the conspiracy of the multinationals in Nigeria\u2019s oil mess and also opens up the involvement\/ betrayal by the Nigerian government officials.

We also saw the agitation by the Igbos of the East and of course, a conspiracy that linked all of Nigeria\u2019s major issues- A Conspiracy of Ravens?<\/em><\/strong>

How do Boko Haram, IPOB and the Niger Delta militants become one? How does the president of Nigeria not have any control of what is going on in his country? How are the defence minister, chief of defence staff, and petroleum minister working against the interest of the country?

Is it pure fiction? Maybe a true story or based on a true story? Or maybe the author knows something we don\u2019t?

All a matter of conjecture, but whatever it is, this book is more than a thriller as it gets your heart racing through the scenes writing up your possible endings in your heart depending on who you have already as your favourite characters.
