Two of the top sides in this years tournament, Today FM and Treasure FM go head to head in the SWAN Henry Kalio Cup on Tuesday in Port Harcourt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Treasure FM have won two games so far, scoring seven and conceding none while Today FM have one win and a draw under their belt with two MVP awards going to Victor Kwame Sampong, also known as Ghanaman.<\/font><\/p>\n

While these two top sides play the second game of the day, Cool\/ Wazobia\/ Info FM and Wave FM will clash in the game of whipping boys at 3pm.<\/font><\/p>\n

While Wave FM have lost both games they have been involved in so far, the Lebanese billionaires were at least able to pick a point against champions, Tide\/ Independent Monitor Newspapers.<\/font><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Rivers State Television, RSTV continued with their 100% record in the tournament, winning their third game on the bounce on Monday against Radio Rivers 2-1.<\/font><\/p>\n

Martins Junior opened scores for RSTV before Stephens doubled their lead.<\/font><\/p>\n

Late in the game, Sylvanus Iyalla pulled one back for Radio Rivers but RSTV held on to win.<\/font><\/p>\n

Manager of RSTV, James Onoja described the game against Radio Rivers as the toughest his side had played.<\/font><\/p>\n

\u201cWith three of my players half fit with injuries, I had to gamble with them.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\u201cI employed a 3-1-1 formation and it was okay for us. The most heart breaking moment for us though was the injuty to our goalkeeper but thank God he came back,\u201d Onoja told ChinaAcheru.com.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\u201cWe have nine points from three games and we look forward to keeping clean sheets until we lift the cup,\u201d Onoja said.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

The second game of the day between Garden City Radio and Daar Communications had all the drama required in a game of that magnitude and the fans were the biggest winners.<\/font><\/p>\n

Garden City Radio threw away a 3-1 lead allowing Daar Communications draw level at 3-3.<\/font><\/p>\n

Benjamin Okenna Sawadinho opened scores for Garden City Radio and then Sanipe Damiete Tonte scored to make it 2-0.<\/font><\/p>\n

In the second half, Sunday Braimah pulled on back for Daar Communications but Benjamin Okenna Sawadinho was on hand to make it 3-1 before the drama began.<\/font><\/p>\n

Sunday Braimah got his second of the day to make it 3-2 and just before full time DJ skillful capitalised on a mistake from goalkeeper Carl The Pointman Orakwue to tuck the ball into a begging net.<\/font><\/p>\n

Captain of the Daar Communications side, Peter Abaje, described it as a great game for his team.<\/font><\/p>\n

\u201cI must commend my players for their never say die attitude today. It goes to show that we are a team with character,\u201d Abaje told ChinaAcheru.com.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are looking forward to our last match in the group and we pray a win will see us through to the knock out phase,\u201d Abaje enthused.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Carl Orakwue of the Garden City Radio team blamed his side for the draw.<\/font><\/p>\n

\u201cWe have ourselves to blame for failing to take the three points against Daar Communications.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\u201cBeing a goal up, all we had to do was keep possession and prevent them from playing but we kept pressing forward and gave them the opportunity to get back into the game,\u201d Orakwue told ChinaAcheru.com.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\u201cA point does more for them than for us and I am sure they are happy to get it. I am sure they will also admit it was a difficult game for them,\u201d Orakwue said.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

The SWAN Henry Kalio Cup is played in honour of former Rivers State chairman of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Henry Kalio who lost his life in an accident while on his way to cover a league game in 2004.<\/font><\/p>\n
